Aching Muscles? Cupping To The Rescue!

Lots of muscle pain this week means it's time to call in our superhero: CUPPING. It’s seriously our fave.🟣🔴🟣🔴

Got sticky, crunchy, tight or cranky muscles? Try cupping! By applying suction to the skin, we are creating space and allowing lymph and fresh oxygenated blood to flow properly though the tissue. This in turn reduces inflammation, frees up restriction and promotes healing.

Nope, it doesn’t hurt. It’s hard to describe the feeling, it’s a little bit tight but mostly relieving and the feeling when the cups are released is often described as nothing short of heavenly.

The marks tend to be darker over areas of chronic pain or inflammation or just overuse (cc: Michael Phelps) and they typically fade in a few days. In the meantime, they make for a great instastory 😉.
