Eat The Rainbow Challenge
Did you know fruit and veggies are their color because of different nutrients?
So the more colors on your plate, the more benefits. This is one of our favorite challenges to do in our monthly Indigo Nutrition Club because itโs actually probably a lot easier than you think, itโs balanced and healthy, and of course FUN! If youโd like to try the Eat the Rainbow Challenge, aim for at least four colors a day - like: sweet potatoes ๐ , tomatoes ๐ , spinach ๐ฟ and eggplant ๐! And remember that during the winter months, Carolyn, our Registered Dietician, especially recommends cooked, warm veggies over cold salads or smoothies. (and of course, Traditional Chinese Medicine agrees with that sentiment)
