Eat The Rainbow Challenge

Did you know fruit and veggies are their color because of different nutrients?

So the more colors on your plate, the more benefits. This is one of our favorite challenges to do in our monthly Indigo Nutrition Club because it’s actually probably a lot easier than you think, it’s balanced and healthy, and of course FUN!  If you’d like to try the Eat the Rainbow Challenge, aim for at least four colors a day - like: sweet potatoes 🍠 , tomatoes 🍅 , spinach 🌿 and eggplant 🍆! And remember that during the winter months, Carolyn, our Registered Dietician, especially recommends cooked, warm veggies over cold salads or smoothies. (and of course, Traditional Chinese Medicine agrees with that sentiment)
