You Are Not Wrong

Here’s the thing: there may not be *current* evidence (ie research articles) that your symptoms are related, but that doesn’t mean your suspicions should be dismissed.

In fact, East Asian Medicine has been connecting dots between “unrelated” symptoms for centuries using a root-branch framework. And that’s exactly what we look for with our integrative approach, if you have multiple symptoms, we work as detectives to see if there’s one (or more) root causes to your symptoms.

Your body works like an ecosystem and if one thing is off, other things can absolutely be affected, too.

Language matters- being told that you’re wrong, that your suspicions are impossible, that there’s “no way” isn’t just bad care that leaves patients feeling more confused and mistrusting, it’s also scientifically invalid. If your healthcare provider that isn’t truly listening to your concerns and leaving space for the unknown, or willing to dig a little deeper, it might be time to look elsewhere.

Some related symptoms that we often see:
💙 Anxiety and Constipation
💙 Birth Control Pills and Depression
💙 C-section scars and back pain
💙 Light periods and insomnia
💙 IUD and digestive issues
💙 Migraines and irregular periods
💙 Sugar cravings and chronic yeast infections
💙 Diarrhea and Exhaustion

Just a little PSA to remember to advocate for yourself, you deserve it. 💕
