Microneedling And Cosmetic Acupuncture

Microneedling- the treatment

This treatment begins with the application of numbing cream, followed by 20 to 30 minutes under the Celluma LED light. During this time, you have the option to add on a full-body acupuncture treatment to address any underlying conditions. Once the numbing cream is removed, the microneedling treatment itself takes about 15 minutes, and covers all the areas of the face and neck. We then switch to nanoneedling for the most sensitive areas such as directly under the eyes and over the lips. Once this is finished, a cold aloe mask is applied, and a jade roller is used over it to promote lymphatic drainage. We then finish off with a relaxing facial massage. Throughout the entire treatment we use hyaluronic acid that’s been enhanced with apple stem cells and targeted Chinese herbal serums depending on your skin type and concerns.  

Microneedling- the results 

Initial results can often be seen about 3 weeks after the first treatment! More dramatic results can begin to be seen after 4 treatments, and full results after 6. We recommend microneedling treatments once a month and the results last 3-6 years with no maintenance!

Cosmetic Acupuncture- the treatment 

Often referred to as the “natural facelift”, this treatment uses a holistic approach to skin health. We start with a full-body acupuncture treatment to address any underlying conditions that might be affecting your skin, including stress, digestive dysfunction, and hormone imbalances. Hair-thin needles are then inserted into the face, and you are left to rest for 30 minutes under the Celluma LED light. We then finish off with a relaxing facial massage along with lymphatic drainage techniques such as gua sha and cupping. 

Cosmetic Acupuncture- the results

One treatment will leave you lifted and glowing from the inside out! For lasting results, we typically recommend weekly treatments for 8-12 sessions, with maintenance visits thereafter.
