Winter Solstice

Winter solstice is one of the most obvious examples of yin-yang theory IRL. The day of winter solstice marks the day that might be the darkest, most YIN day of the year, but it’s also the day where we see YANG arising out of yin... every day from there out will get a bit lighter and brighter.☀️ Yin supports yang, and vice versa. One cannot exist without another and all yin and yang is relative!  How would we know dark without light? Cold without warmth? Joy without sadness? Rest without activity? It’s such a cool principle and it exists everywhere in nature if you look closely. ☯️
