Plant Babies

If you've been into our office, you can probably tell that we LOVE plants. However, they're in our space not just for the aesthetic. 🌷🌱🌿

It's common knowledge that putting good quality food and water into our bodies is vital to balanced health, but AIR quality is something often overlooked.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the body's Qi (loosely translated as vital life force) comes from 3 sources - The food we eat, the air we breathe, and Qi given to us by our parents.

Breathing clean air is just as important as quality food and water when it comes to the Qi that we take in. Thinking of all the chemicals and pollutants in our air like carbon monoxide, radon, and even mold in our homes and places of work can be a little scary!

Here are some easy ways to take in some better quality “Air Qi” - especially if you’ve been spending a lot of time indoors during the past few months.

🌱Plants! - Some easy to care for air purifying plants are Spider Plants, Dracaenas, and Snake Plants (pictured on the left)
🌱Air Filters - look for any “HEPA” filter
🌱Himalayan Salt Lamps
🌱Limit chemical-based household cleaning supplies and perfume (or switch to something made from plants!)

Take some nice deep gulps of fresh outside air as much as you can - go for a walk outside of a city or in a park!
